J&K Bank Wins 20th J&K Police Martyr's Memorial Football Tournament
Srinagar- J&K Bank FC defeated Kashmir Avengers FC 2-0 to clinch the 20th J&K Police Martyr's Memorial Football Tournament title on Tuesday at TRC Ground here.
J&K Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha also addressed the closing ceremony of the tourney. The LG hailed the service and sacrifice of J&K Police and their crucial role in security, stability and safe environment for progress and prosperity of J&K.
The J&K Football Association congratulated J&K Bank, calling the club“the torchbearers of J&K football.”
J&K Bank stars who lit up the championship included Aakib Reshi, who won the Highest Goalscorer Of The Tournament award. Adnan, Farhan and Shabir also earned accolades for their brilliant performance.
Meanwhile, earlier in the day, J&K Police XI scripted a sensational victory over Downtown Heroes FC at TRC Ground to secure 3rd Place in this prestigious tournament.
