
Ashghal Announces Partial Closure On Al Wakra Road
Doha, Qatar: The Public Works Authority, Ashghal, has announced a partial closure on Al Wakra Road.
The fast lane will be closed for a distance of 300 metres for traffic coming from Doha towards Al Wakra, starting just after the Ras Bu Fontas Interchange. The closure will begin on Saturday, September 20, 2025, and will remain in place for 40 days.

The measure is required to complete remaining works between Ras Bu Fontas Interchange and Al Wakra Street Interchange, in coordination with the General Directorate of Traffic.
Ashghal advises road users coming from Doha towards Al Wakra to follow the traffic signs and adhere to the speed limits in place.
