Qatar, Sudan Eye Closer Relations

DOHA, Sept 1 (KUNA) -- Qatari Minister of State at the Foreign Ministry Mohammmad Al-Khulaifi and Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and Acting Foreign Minister Omar Siddiq discussed on Monday bilateral ties.
This came during a telephone call, in which they also discussed cooperative relations between the two countries and means to support and enhance them, as well as the situation in Sudan and the latest regional developments, said the Qatari Foreign Minister in a release.
During the phone conversation, the Qatari minister reiterated his country's full support for Sudan's unity, sovereignty, and stability, and its support for the Sudanese people to achieve their aspirations for peace, development and prosperity. (end)
