MP: About 2 Million Ukrainian Schoolchildren Are Abroad
“Today, nearly 2 million Ukrainian schoolchildren are abroad, and about 400,000 of them continue to study Ukrainian curricula in Ukrainian schools,” Hryshyna said.
She noted that one of the main tasks of the state is to ensure that Ukrainian children abroad maintain ties with their homeland. In the field of education, this is achieved, in particular, through online learning according to Ukrainian curricula or through the study of Ukrainian studies while attending a foreign school.
As reported by Ukrinform, according to the Ministry of Education and Science, 3.5 million schoolchildren are starting the new school year in Ukraine. Most of them are studying offline.
