Media: Six Bombings Overnight In Narathiwat Southern Thailand, Two Injured

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 1 (KUNA) -- Bombs were detonated at six locations in five districts of the southern border province of Narathiwat, Thailand, on Sunday night, injuring two people, said a media source on Monday.
The Bangkok Post, citing the Narathiwat office of the Public Relations Department, reported that the explosions occurred between 7:50 p.m. local time Sunday and 12:30 a.m. Monday in Bacho, Chanae, Cho Airong, Sri Sakhon and Sungai Padi districts.
In response, the Thai army increased security, especially in economic areas. (end)
