Police Arrest Suspect In Sahab Store Burglary

Amman, Aug 31 (Petra) – The spokesperson for the Public Security Directorate (PSD) said that the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) began investigating a complaint on Sunday filed by the owner of a store in Sahab district, southern Amman, following a robbery in which money and tobacco products were stolen, as captured in a video circulated earlier.
The spokesperson confirmed that, through investigations and information gathering, the suspect was identified and arrested, and the vehicle used in the theft was seized. During questioning, the suspect admitted to committing this theft as well as other burglaries in collaboration with accomplices, who are currently being sought. Investigations are ongoing.
