Six Injured In Russian Attacks On Dnipropetrovsk Region, Including A Child


(MENAFN- UkrinForm) According to Ukrinform, this was reported on Telegram by Mykola Lukashuk, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Council.

“As of 18:30, the security situation in the Dnipropetrovsk region remains tense. There were loud explosions in the Dnipro district. The enemy launched missile and drone strikes, sparking fires. Approximately 25 attacks targeted the Nikopol district throughout the day, involving both artillery and drones,” the statement reads.

Russian forces targeted the district center as well as the Pokrovske, Myrove, and Marhanets communities. In the Myrove community, a 64-year-old woman was injured and hospitalized in moderate condition. A 23-year-old man and a 42-year-old woman were also wounded. The attacks damaged three private homes, an outbuilding, two minibuses, three cars, a business facility, and a gas pipeline.

Further strikes hit the Synelnykove district, injuring two women aged 31 and 51, along with an 11-year-old boy. The attacks targeted the Mezhova and Malomykhailivka communities, causing fires and damaging private homes and a medical facility.

Lukashuk noted that other communities in the region experienced no shelling during the day.

As previously reported, on August 30, the Dnipropetrovsk region was hit by Russian guided aerial bombs, FPV drones, and artillery. Casualties were confirmed.
