Turkey’s TEKNOFEST showcases warships attracting various visitors

(MENAFN) TEKNOFEST’s maritime-themed event, known as TEKNOFEST Blue Homeland, has opened doors for the public to tour Turkey’s naval vessels. The four-day exhibition, which started Thursday at the Istanbul Shipyard Command, is supported globally by Anadolu as the communications partner.

Attendees have the chance to explore several warships, including TCG Istanbul, TCG Burgazada, TCG Oruçreis, TCG Nusret, TCG Sakarya, TCG Hızırreis, and Turkey’s unmanned aerial vehicle carrier, TCG Anadolu.

The event features a wide range of activities beyond ship tours, such as forums, air shows, and history-focused exhibitions. Visitors can also enjoy interactive virtual reality experiences and exhibitions highlighting maritime culture and history.

Competitions play a central role, showcasing unmanned underwater systems, underwater rockets, and autonomous maritime vehicles. Following this maritime edition, TEKNOFEST’s main event is scheduled for September 17–21 at Istanbul’s Atatürk Airport.
