Kuwait Airways, STC Sign Coop. Protocol

KUWAIT, Aug 23 (KUNA) -- Kuwait Airways and Kuwait Telecommunications Company (STC) signed a protocol to promote their cooperation in several fields, mainly telecommunications and aviation, and to exchange integrated and innovative services.
Speaking to KUNA and Kuwait TV, Kuwait Airways Chairman Abdulmohsen Al-Fagaan said on Saturday that the protocol is part of the national carrier's efforts to highlight its pivotal role by contributing to developing bilateral partnerships with both public and private sectors, thus benefitting the national economy.
He added that by signing the protocol his company looks forward to widening the scope of cooperation towards new horizons covering technology, air transport, telecommunications, information technology and artificial intelligence.
For his part, STC's Executive Chairman Moataz Al-Dharrab commended the signing of the protocol as a significant step towards promoting digital transformation in Kuwait.
Speaking to KUNA, he underlined that this partnership reflects "our vision of building bridges of communication among various vital sectors and STC's commitment to providing innovative solutions that fulfill customers' expectations.
He added that the protocol would create new horizons of innovation and development by working together to explore and apply state-of-the-art technology in a way that serves both aviation and telecommunication sectors. (end)
