Doha: Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) general index closed Monday's trading higher by 80.43 points, or 0.74 percent, to close at 11,022.14 points.
During the session, 199,577,681 shares, valued at QR 500,889,839.987, were traded in 21,634 transactions across all sectors.
The session saw shares of 35 companies rise, 11 companies decline in their share price, and 7 companies maintain their previous closing price.
Market capitalization at the end of the trading session amounted to QR 653,372,215,817.088, compared to QR 648,763,364,141.806 in the previous session.
