Bahrain Welcomes Ceasefire Between Iran, Israeli Occupation

MANAMA, June 24 (KUNA) -- Bahrain welcomed on Tuesday the ceasefire agreement between Iran and the Israeli occupation announced by US President Donald Trump, deeming it as a positive step for regional security and stability.
A statement by the Foreign Ministry, cited by the Bahrain News Agency (BNA), revealed that Bahrain had a firm stance on any conflict, which should always be resolved through dialogue and peaceful paths.
The statement reiterated the need for the resumption of US-Iranian negotiations on the latter party's nuclear program to bring upon peace and security to the region. (end)
