
Al Duhail Crowned Qatar Handball Cup Champions
Doha, Qatar: Al Duhail clinched their third Qatar Handball Cup title after a 30–26 victory over Al Arabi in the final held at Al Duhail Sports Hall yesterday. The team previously won the prestigious title in the 2017–2018 and 2019–2020 seasons. Al Duhail led 16–11 at halftime and maintained their dominance throughout the second half to secure the win. Following the match, First Vice President of the Qatar Olympic Committee Mohammed bin Yousef Al Mana and President of the Qatar Handball Federation Ahmed Mohammed Al Shaabi awarded Al Duhail the championship trophy and gold medals, while Al Arabi received silver. Al Duhail reached the final after edging Al Rayyan 23–21 in the semi-final, while Al Arabi advanced with a 31–26 win over Al Ahli.
