Christophe Galtier's Al Duhail, who currently sit atop the table with 41 points, hold a slender one-point lead over Felix Sanchez's Al Sadd, who have been in exceptional form in the second half of the season.

The two teams are set to face tricky challenges in their upcoming fixtures, with Al Duhail taking on Al Gharafa and Al Sadd squaring off against Al Wakrah on Saturday.

Al Gharafa, occupying third place with 37 points, are also in the hunt for the coveted Falcon Shield.

Meanwhile, Al Wakrah, the reigning Qatar Cup champions, have faced struggles this season and are determined to secure the best possible finish, sitting in ninth place with 21 points.

The battle for a top-four finish will intensify as Al Ahli, currently in fourth place with 29 points, prepare to face Al Rayyan tomorrow. Al Rayyan, in fifth place, are eager to overcome the two-point deficit that separates them from the Brigadiers and push for a top-four spot.

An exciting clash will also take place between Al Shamal and Al Shahania, who are level on 23 points. Both teams are targeting maximum points as they aim to climb the standings.

In another clash tomorrow, the league's bottom sides, Umm Salal (15 points) and Al Khor (7 points), will face off in a match that could have serious implications for relegation.

Meanwhile, on Saturday, Al Arabi will take on Qatar SC in another important fixture in the 19th round.

Al Arabi currently occupy eighth place with 22 points, while Qatar SC sit in 10th with 15 points, both teams eager to improve their positions in the standings.
