Apple works to fix glitch showing ‘Trump’ when saying ‘racist’


(MENAFN) Apple is working to fix an error in iPhone's voice-to-text feature that shortly shows the name "Trump" when people voice the word "racist."

The incident received broad attention as a TikTok account uploaded a clip the previous week, other ones have posted videos of themselves on social media platforms trying to test the bug.

“We are aware of an issue with the speech recognition model that powers Dictation and we are rolling out a fix today,” an Apple representative has stated on Tuesday.

The bug happened a day after the tech company stated that it would spend a minimum of USD500 billion in the US, for United States Leader Donald Trump’s second run in office.

Apple additionally clarified that the bug happens in the first processing period, when the speech recognition models might shortly show words with identical sounds before more analysis process modifies it to the right word.
