Palestinian PM: Gov't Working Seriously To Provide Relief, Reconstruction In Gaza

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) CAIRO, Feb 6 (KUNA) -- Palestinian Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Mohammad Mustafa confirmed that the Palestinian government is working seriously to provide relief to the Gaza Strip and prepare for reconstruction as soon as possible.
Dr. Mustafa said in a press conference Thursday following his meeting with the Secretary-General of the Arab League, Ahmad Aboul Gheit, that the priority at this time is the people of Gaza, despite the worrying political and security situation, considering that it is impossible to separate the political situation in the Strip from the security and logistical situation.
He also stressed that the Palestinian National Authority will work with all partners and friends to overcome the difficult circumstances that the Palestinian people are going through.
He noted that his meeting with Aboul Gheit discussed the moves being made by the Palestinian government regarding dealing with the political and relief situation in Gaza. (end)
