PDD Worker, Injured Due To Electrocution 9 Days Ago, Succumbs


(MENAFN- Kashmir Observer) Srinagar- A Power Development Department (PDD) worker, who was critically injured after receiving an electric shock in the Nowshera area of Srinagar, has succumbed to his injuries, officials said on Monday.

An official said that the worker, identified as Bashir Ahmad Sofi (38), a resident of Ganderbal, was electrocuted while on duty in Nowshera on January 26, reported news agency KNO.

He was admitted to a hospital for treatment where he succumbed to injuries after 9 days.
