Kuwaiti 1St Dep. PM Holds Discussions With Egyptian DM

CAIRO, Feb 2 (KUNA) -- Kuwait's First Deputy Prime Minister, Defense Minister and Interior Minister, sheikh Fahad Yusuf Saud Al-Sabah discussed on Sunday with Egyptian Defense Minister Gen. Abdulmajeed Saqr, ways to enhance military cooperation and achieve security and stability in the region.
This meeting is part of Sheikh Fahad Al-Yusuf's official visit to Egypt, Kuwait's Ministry of Defense said in a statement.
Sheikh Fahad Al-Yusuf signed a military cooperation agreement with Gen. Saqr, followed by a visit to the 'Tomb of the Unknown Soldier,' honoring martyrs of the Egyptian Armed Forces, as well as visiting the tomb of late President Anwar Sadat, in recognition and commemoration of his significant national role, noted the statement.
