Russians Attack Kharkiv Region With Drones: Casualties, Damage Reported


(MENAFN- UkrinForm) In Kharkiv region, Russian drone strikes injured two people and damaged a business and residential buildings over the past day.

According to Ukrinform, this was reported on facebook by Oleh Syniehubov, Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration.

On February 2, at 00:01, a Shahed drone strike set textiles, paper, and polymer materials on fire at a warehouse of a civilian enterprise (2,000 sq. meters). No casualties were reported. The fire was localized by 01:27.

In the town of Liubotyn, at 03:31 on February 2, a Shahed drone hit a household structure, injuring a 39-year-old woman and a 53-year-old man. Two cars, a house roof, and yard structures were damaged. Also, six houses suffered broken windows, roof, and fence damage.

In the village of Donets, Izium district, at 11:02 on February 1, a drone strike set trash on fire and damaged dormitory windows and four cars. No injuries were reported.

In Kupiansk, at 12:25, February 1, a FPV drone strike damaged a minibus. At 14:20 on the same day, a Molniya drone strike damaged a house. No injuries were reported.

In the Kharkiv sector of the front, no Russian offensive actions were recorded on February 1.

In the Kupiansk sector, 17 Russian attacks were repelled near Topoli, Dvorichna, Petropavlivka, Stepova Novosilka, Hlushkivka, Zahryzove, and Lozova.

Earlier it was reported that Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov confirmed that enemy drones hit Slobidskyi district, causing a large fire (2,000 sq. meters).
