Kuwaiti Racers Achieve Advanced Positions In Qatar-Hosted Arab Drag Race Championship

DOHA, Feb 1 (KUNA) -- Basil Al-Sabah Motor Racing Club Secretary Fahad Al-Alaj stated Saturday that the club's racers achieved advanced positions in the fourth round of the Arab Drag Racing Championship in Qatar.
Al-Alaj added in a statement to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that this comes after the club's racers succeeded in achieving top positions during the first three rounds of the championship hosted by the Qatar Motor Racing Club.
Al-Alaj expressed his thanks and appreciation to the championship organizers for the good reception and hospitality. He also extended thanks and appreciation to Minister of Information and Culture and Minister of State for Youth Affairs Abdulrahman Al-Mutairi as well as Acting Director General of the Public Authority for Sports, Bashar Abdullah.
He explained that in the 9.0 Index category, Ahmad Al-Yaqoub won first place, while Jarrah Al-Kandari came in third, as for the 8.5 category for bicycle racing, Abdulwahab Buqmaz won first place.
Al-Alaj indicated that in the Street Bike category, Musa Al-Balushi won second place, while Khaled Al-Kandari won first place in the Index 8.4 category.
In the Index 5.4 category, Al-Alaj said that Ibrahim Abbas won first place, while Fawaz Karam won second place. Bader Khorshid won second place in the Index 4.0 category, while Suleiman Al-Fadel won third place.
He pointed out that in the Super Street Bike category, Yaqoot Al-Awad won second place, while Bader Bin Eidan won third place. In the Super Street Outlaw category, Mohammed Al-Mutairi won first place, and Jaber Mahaoush won second place.
In the Pro Bike category, Al-Alaj explained that the racer Mishaal Al-Sabr won first place, while the racer Turki Al-Dhafiri won third place in the Super Street Pro category.
As for the Pro NE category, the racer Sayed Hussein Al-Haddad won first place, while the second place went to the racer Ali Abbas. (end)
