Sheikh Joaan Crowns Winners Of Marmi 2025
(MENAFN- Gulf Times) HE Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad al-Thani crowned the winners of the 16th edition of the Qatar International Falcons and Hunting Festival (Marmi 2025) on Friday at the festival site in Sabkhat Marmi, Sealine Area.
The crowning ceremony took place following the conclusion of the field championships, with the final of the Haddad Al-Tahadi Championship. At the beginning of the ceremony, HE Sheikh Joaan, the patron of Marmi Festival, honoured Abdulrahman bin Abdul Latif al-Mannai, CEO of the Social and Sports Support Fund (DAAM), and Misfer Saleh al-Bidaiwi, vice president of Shell Qatar and a member of the Ras Laffan Community Outreach Programme.
Following this, HE Sheikh Joaan presented the awards to the winners of the remaining field championships. Marmi Festival will conclude with the Mazayen (falcon Beauty) Contest Saturday at Katara Cultural Village's Building 12.
