Shura Council Speaker Meets Cambodia Senate President

Doha: Speaker of the Shura Council H E Hassan bin Abdullah Al Ghanim met yesterday with President of the Senate of the Kingdom of Cambodia H E Samdech Techo Hun Sen and his accompanying delegation, who is visiting the country.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Speaker of the Shura Council praised the level of relations between the State of Qatar and the Kingdom of Cambodia and their remarkable development, expressing his aspiration for further parliamentary cooperation between the two sides.
For his part, the President of the Senate of the Kingdom of Cambodia expressed his happiness at visiting the State of Qatar to enhance cooperation in various fields, including the parliamentary field, noting the efforts of the State of Qatar in supporting peace and sustainable development regionally and internationally.
The two sides exchanged views on a number of common issues, stressing the importance of strengthening parliamentary communication channels and developing coordination mechanisms in international forums.
