Ministry Of Labour Participates In QIIB Career Day

Doha, Qatar: The Ministry of Labour, represented by the National Workforce Employment Department, participated yesterday in the“Career Day” event hosted by the International Islamic Bank (QIIB).

The event aimed to create employment opportunities for Qatari nationals and children of Qatari women registered on the“Kawader” platform and to facilitate their integration into the banking sector, contributing to the advancement of national talents in the private sector.

The Ministry's participation in this event aligns with its ongoing efforts to implement the objectives of the Private Sector Nationalisation Law and the pillars of the National Strategy for an Effective and Highly Productive Workforce 2024-2030. This strategy seeks to develop a highly skilled and competitive national workforce capable of meeting the demands of Qatar's labour market.

During the event, representatives from the National Workforce Employment Department actively engaged in recruitment interviews conducted with Qatari nationals and children of Qatari women seeking private sector employment. These interviews were conducted to identify and select the most suitable candidates for available positions at the International Islamic Bank (QIIB).

The Ministry of Labour's involvement in this initiative reaffirms its unwavering commitment to advancing the core objectives of the Third National Development Strategy 2024-2030 and Qatar National Vision 2030 under the human development pillar.

Through its continued efforts, the Ministry strives to cultivate and empower national talents to lead key economic sectors, increase their participation in the national workforce, and prepare them for meaningful contributions to Qatar's sustainable development journey.
