SOCAR President Meets With ADNOC CEO

BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 31. President of the
State Oil Company of the Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) Rovshan Najaf
met with Musabbeh Al Kaabi, Executive Director for Low Carbon
Solutions and International Development at Abu Dhabi National Oil
Company (ADNOC), Trend reports citing SOCAR.
At the meeting, satisfaction was expressed with the work done to expand the successful cooperation between the companies. In this regard, the importance of the agreements on transferring 3% participation in the SARB and Umm Lulu fields to SOCAR and selling 30% participation in the Absheron gas condensate field was emphasized.
The parties considered the possibilities of cooperation in the field of energy transition and decarbonization, and also exchanged views on other issues of mutual interest.
