In Frontline, 149 Clashes Took Place Over Past Day, Enemy Attacks 10 Localities In Pokrovsk Direction

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) At the frontline, 149 combat engagements with Russian invaders were registered yesterday. Most hostile attacks took place in the Pokrovsk direction.

The General Staff of the armed forces of Ukraine reported this on facebook , publishing operational information as of 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 30, Ukrinform reports.

According to the updated information, yesterday the enemy launched a missile attack on the positions of Ukrainian units and settlements using one missile, as well as 62 air strikes using 99 combat aircraft.

In addition, they carried out 4588 attacks, 110 of them from multiple launch rocket systems. The Russian army carried out airstrikes, in particular in the areas of the settlements of Lyptsi, Prykolodne, Vovchanski Khutory, Izbytske, Lozova, Mali Prohody, Petropavlivka, Kupyansk, Starytsia of the Kharkiv region; Siversk, Chasiv Yar, Oleksandro-Shultyne, Oleksandropil, Novobakhmutivka, Vozdvyzhenka, Ivanivka, Hrodivka, Toretsk, Pokrovsk, Skuchne, Kostyantynivka, Yelyzavetivka, Vodyane, Katerynivka, Vuhledar, Novodonetske of the Donetsk Oblast; Kamianske and Myrne in the Zaporizhzhia region, as well as Lviv, Tyahynka and Novotyahynka in the Kherson region.

Yesterday, aviation, missile forces and artillery of the Defense Forces carried out 13 strikes on areas where Russian personnel were concentrated.

In the Kharkiv direction, five combat clashes took place in the areas of Hlyboke and Vovchansk settlements.

In the Kupyansk direction, the number of attacks per day increased to six. The defense forces repelled the aggressor's assault near Novoosynove, Pishchane and Stelmakhivka In the Lyman direction, the enemy attacked 13 times near Nevske, Makiivka, Terny and in the Serebryansk forest.

In the Siverskyi direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled nine assaults by Russian invaders near Ivanodarivka, Verkhnokamianske, Pereizne, Spirne and Vyimka.

In the Kramatorsk direction, the Russian invaders attacked six times in the areas of Hryhorivka, Chasiv Yar, Klishchiivka, Kalynivka and Bohdanivka.

In the Toretsk direction, the enemy carried out 19 attacks near Druzhba, Pivnichne, Zalizne, New York and Toretsk. In the Pokrovsk direction, the Defense Forces stopped 52 attacks during the day.

The Russians attacked in the areas of ten different settlements. The most active were near Novooleksandrivka, Zhelanne and Progress. They operated in the direction with significant support from bomber and attack aircraft.

In the Kurakhove direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled 21 assaults near Kostyantynivka, Paraskoviivka, and Pobieda, where Russian troops continue to try to break through the defenses of Ukrainian troops. The invaders lost a large number of tanks and other armored vehicles in the direction yesterday.

In the Vremivka direction, the Russians carried out nine assaults on Ukrainian positions near Vodiane, Velyka Novosilka and Kostyantynivka.

In the Orikhiv direction, the Russian invaders continue to try to dislodge Ukrainian units from their positions. Four Russian attacks were choked in the area of Mala Tokmachka.

In the Prydniprovsk direction, three Russian attacks were unsuccessful. The aggressor suffered losses.

In the Volyn and Polissya directions, no signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups were detected.

On the border with Chernihiv and Sumy regions, the Russian army maintains a military presence, shells settlements from Russian territory, and uses FPV drones for attacks.

As reported by Ukrinform, the total combat losses of Russian troops in Ukraine since February 24, 2022 amount to about 577,060 people.
