HMC's Aisha Bint Hamad Al Attiyah Hospital Introduces Advanced Physiotherapy Outpatient Services For Male Patients In Northern Qatar

Doha: Recognizing the growing need for dedicated, state-of-the-art physiotherapy services in the northern region of Qatar, Hamad Medical Corporation's (HMC) Aisha Bint Hamad Al Attiyah Hospital has announced the opening of a new Physiotherapy Outpatient Department for male patients, commencing Sunday 28 July 2024. This marks the first phase of the expansion process and reflects its ongoing commitment to cater to the increasing demand for specialized physiotherapy services in the region.

Based on statistical reports and analysis, there is a growing demand for physiotherapy services, with an estimated 60% of patients being male.“This expansion will promote better accessibility to care, reduce waiting times, improve the quality of care and enhance patient satisfaction,” stated Ms. Refaa Al Enazi, Director of Rehabilitation Services who spearhead the project.“We are delighted to introduce our comprehensive physiotherapy services, designed to provide the best care, enhance physical performance and ensure fastest recovery possible for our patients. Our state-of-the-art facility is equipped with the latest innovative rehabilitative technology and staffed by a team of highly qualified and experienced physiotherapists.”

The new male outpatient physiotherapy department at Aisha Bint Hamad Al Attiyah Hospital will replace the current service for male patients at Al Khor Hospital and all existing patients will be contacted with further information for transferring.
