Yemen's Houthi Leader Threatens More Attacks On Tel Aviv

(MENAFN- Nam News Network) SANAA, Jul 26 (NNN-SABA) – Yemen's Houthi leader, Abdul Malik al-Houthi, yesterday said in a televised speech, his armed group would launch more attacks against the Israeli city of Tel Aviv.

“I confirm that more military operations to target Tel Aviv are coming,” the leader said in his weekly speech, aired live by his group's al-Masirah TV.

Last week, the Houthis claimed responsibility for a drone attack on a building in Tel Aviv that killed a person and injured 10 others.

In retaliation, Israeli fighter jets bombarded fuel storage facilities in Yemen's Red Sea port city of Hodeidah, which is under the control of the Houthis, killing six people and injuring 83 others, according to al-Masirah TV.

Since Nov last year, the Houthis had been targeting ships linked to Israel in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden, using ballistic missiles and bomb-laden drones, to show solidarity with the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.– NNN-SABA
