Henley & Partners Unveils Turkmenistan's Rating In Its Passport Index


(MENAFN- Trend News Agency) ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, July 25. Turkmenistan's passport ranked 89th in the Henley & Partners World Passport Index, Trend reports.

According to Henley & Partners, the passport's rating decreased by 2 positions compared to the data for 2023, according to which the country ranked 87th.

Thus, citizens of Turkmenistan can visit 50 countries without a visa or get a visa on arrival.

Among other Central Asian countries, Kazakhstan ranked 64th (77 countries), Kyrgyzstan ranked 76th (64 countries), Uzbekistan ranked 78th (62 countries), and Tajikistan ranked 82nd (58 countries).

Furthermore, Singapore has once again maintained its leadership in the most powerful passports in the world, whose citizens can visit 195 countries without a visa or with a visa on arrival (out of 227 analyzed).

To note, the Henley Passport Index is the original and most authoritative ranking of all the world's passports by the number of destinations their holders can access without a prior visa.

The index includes 199 passports and 227 travel destinations, providing users with the most extensive and reliable information on their global access and mobility.
