Turkmenistan Approves Team For Intergovernmental Commission With Kyrgyzstan


(MENAFN- Trend News Agency) ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, July 24. Turkmenistan has approved the composition of the intergovernmental commission with Kyrgyzstan for its part, Trend reports.

According to an official source, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed a decree approving the composition of the Intergovernmental Turkmen-Kyrgyz Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific, Technical and Humanitarian Cooperation from the Turkmen side.

In general, the document was signed to further develop the partnership between Turkmenistan and Kyrgyzstan.

Meanwhile, the cooperation between Turkmenistan and Kyrgyzstan has significantly developed over recent years, driven by mutual interests in economic, cultural, and political spheres.

Both countries have actively engaged in enhancing trade relations, focusing on energy, agriculture, and transportation sectors, with high-level visits and bilateral agreements strengthening their partnership and promoting regional stability and growth.
