Reconstruction Work Continues On Dehmoy-Kanibadam Road In Tajikistan's Sughd


(MENAFN- Trend News Agency) DUSHANBE, Tajikistan, July 19. The reconstruction of the Dehmoy-Kanibadam road in the Sughd region of Tajikistan is ongoing, Trend reports.

According to the Sughd regional authority, the road stretches for 51 kilometers and varies in width from 25 to 45 meters. The modernization project involves both domestic and international specialists.

As part of the road construction project, the plan includes building 11 new road bridges. The road, which holds international significance, will be upgraded to meet global standards.

During a review of the roadwork, Sughd region Head Rajabboy Ahmadzoda instructed officials to ensure the high-quality execution of the project and to maintain cleanliness and order along the Dehmoy-Kanibadam road.

Additionally, the region's head reviewed the progress on several other projects, including the irrigation system, a new secondary school building, kindergartens, a modern restaurant, a shoe factory, and a fruit processing plant. He also issued directives to city officials on the quality of preparations for these new facilities.

To note, reconstruction work on the Dehmoy-Kanibadam road began on October 8, 2021.
