Azerbaijan's Embassy In Iran Reopens


(MENAFN- Khaama Press) The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan announced that its embassy in Iran has resumed operations at a new address.

According to Mehr News Agency, citing the AzNews website, Azerbaijan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated on Monday, July 15th, that the embassy of Azerbaijan in Tehran has officially commenced its activities at a new address.

The report further mentioned that the reopening of Azerbaijan's embassy in the Iranian capital follows negotiations between officials from Tehran and Baku.

However, the report also noted that Iran has taken appropriate measures to ensure the security of the new embassy building by the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations.

It is worth mentioning that the new embassy building of the Republic of Azerbaijan is located in the Darrous area in northern Tehran.

Meanwhile, the reopening of Azerbaijan's embassy at a new location in Tehran marks a significant step towards strengthening diplomatic ties between Azerbaijan and Iran.

As operations resume, both countries are expected to continue working together to promote mutual interests and cooperation across various fields.
