Schneider Electric To Produce Low, Medium-Voltage Equipment In Uzbekistan (Exclusive)


(MENAFN- Trend News Agency) BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 16. French Schneider Electric is committed to exploring the localization of some of its low-voltage and medium-voltage equipment production within Uzbekistan, the Head of Institutional affairs Timothée Mace Dubois told Trend .

He pointed out that with the expected boom in Uzbekistan's data center projects, Schneider Electric is chomping at the bit to lend a hand with its know-how and solutions in this up-and-coming field.

"Schneider Electric has a successful track record in Uzbekistan, having supplied or is in the process of supplying its latest innovative solutions for projects in different fields, such as energy and chemical industries. For example, gas processing plants, commercial and industrial buildings like tourism complexes, and infrastructure facilities like airports," Timothée Mace Dubois said.

According to him, Uzbekistan's focus on creating local tech jobs aligns perfectly with the company's commitment to providing training and skill development programs to bolster the local workforce.

"With many Uzbek cities aiming to become smart and green, Schneider Electric sees electrification and digitization as key drivers of sustainability. Our solutions can create smart and green buildings, factories, cities, infrastructure, homes, and data centers," the representative of the company emphasized.

On June 4, a team from Schneider Electric participated alongside other major French companies in the France-Uzbekistan Business Forum, organized by MEDEF International in Paris. A delegation from Uzbekistan headed by the Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade Laziz Kudratov also participated at the forum.

Uzbekistan showed its belief in Schneider Electric's abilities, acknowledging the company's potential to be a crucial ally in the country's journey of change. Schneider Electric showed its true colors by pledging to lend a helping hand to Uzbekistan's journey towards progress and change.
