NSIA Opens Electronic ID Card Distribution Office In UAE

(MENAFN- Pajhwok Afghan News) KABUL (Pajhwok): The National Statistics and Information Authority (NSIA) has started issuing electronic national identity cards to Afghan migrants in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), officials said on Sunday.

NSIA wrote on X platform it opened an electronic ID card distribution department in the UAE on Saturday for providing more facilities to Afghans living in the country.

Afghanistan Ambassador Maulvi Badruddin Haqqani, technical affairs integration of electronic IDs director for NSIA Sultan Ahmad Sabaoon, Head of Asan Khedmat Jahad Gul Pasoon, national traders and some Afghans attended the opening ceremony.

According to NSIA, Haqqani congratulated the Afghans living in the UAE on the opening of the Asan Service Center and promised all kinds of cooperation in this regard.

NSIA said the new department will provide facilities like distribution of electronic ID cards, birth certificates and death certificates. The department was opened by NSIA general Director Dr. Faqir Mohammad Ziyar.

NSIA will open Asan Khedmat centers in other countries to provide more facilities to Afghan migrants.
