Hezbollah Targets Israeli Military Sites As Confrontations Continue On S. Lebanon


(MENAFN- Nam News Network) BEIRUT, Jul 6 (NNN-NNA) – Lebanese Hezbollah, announced yesterday that, it targeted several Israeli military sites, in response to its attacks on Lebanese southern villages and houses.

Hezbollah said in statements that, it bombed the headquarters of the 769th Brigade in Kiryat Shmona, and targeted a building in the Shlomi settlement, as well as, the sites of Ramtha, Al-Samaqa, Zebdine, and Ramyah.

Lebanese military sources said that, its army positions monitored the launching of about 20 surface-to-surface missiles from the Lebanese side to Israel, and Israeli Iron Dome missiles intercepted some of them.

Meanwhile, the source said, Israel yesterday carried out six airstrikes on five towns and villages in the eastern sector, and in the Jezzine region, deep in southern Lebanon, while the Israeli artillery bombed 12 border towns and villages with 75 shells, wounding citizens in the villages of Houla and Yohmor.

The sources added,“The Israeli artillery shelling for the first time targeted Blat, a village in the Marjeyoun District, the town of Nabatieh Al-Fawqa, and the villages of Yohmor and Kfar Tebnit.”– NNN-NNA
