Syria Launches Tender For 5 Locomotives

São Paulo – Syrian Railways has launched a tender for five locomotives with the needed spare parts for five years, repair and maintenance services, as well as abroad and local training for the employees who will operate the machinery.
According to information on the tender disclosed by the Embassy of Síria in Brasília, the call for offers ends on August 7. EUR 300,000 [USD 320,000] will be paid to the winning foreign bidder. A performance bond of 10% of the total contract value will be required.
The bidder's commitment period with their offer is of 90 days. The winning bidder will have 450 days to deliver the goods. Partial delivery is allowed.
