SMC Consultancy Developed Üstat9, Turkey's First Artificial Intelligence Supported Company Risk Analysis Product

(MENAFN- B2Press) Digital transformation, led by cloud-based enterprise resource planning systems (ERP) in the age of artificial intelligence, has become a business necessity for small and medium-sized enterprises. The local company has developed an artificial intelligence-supported risk analysis software that enables SMEs to learn their strengths, weaknesses and risky aspects in about 20 minutes before the digital transformation process.

The global paradigm shaped by economic, geopolitical, social and environmental uncertainties has deeply affected small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), which provide 70.6% of employment in our country. Although the way to manage the risks posed by unexpected events is to adopt an effective digital transformation strategy, the obstacles that prevent SMEs from preparing their business models for the requirements of the 21st century have not disappeared. SMC, a local technology and consultancy company that rolls up its sleeves for SMEs with the motto "First improvement, then digitalisation", has developed an artificial intelligence (AI) supported product called Üstat9, which enables SMEs that want to institutionalise to discover their risks and opportunities, strengths and weaknesses in about 20 minutes.

Stating that digitalisation for SMEs remains a mystery or fails, SMC Strategic Management Consultancy Chairman Lida Yanık said, "Concepts such as AI, big data, IoT, Industry 4.0 create an even more unknown universe for SMEs that do not know the missing aspects of their business models, their strengths, the risks and opportunities they may face. Üstat9, which we developed as SMC with completely domestic investment and domestic software teams, supports the organisational development process of SMEs with five steps listed as analysis, suggestion, improvement, digitalisation and corporate sustainability, which are indispensable in the process of selecting business management software."

64% of SMEs cannot utilise data

In a study published by the World Economic Forum in June 2023, it was seen that 64% of SMEs find it challenging to utilise business data.
Reminding that unlocking the full potential of data is a prerequisite for being efficient and resilient, Lida Yanık said, "There are many ERP systems and business management software for SMEs. Even if it is realised that digital enterprise resource management solutions are a necessity, it is not known how to get started. At this point, process analysis comes into play for companies. Üstat9, which allows small and medium-sized enterprises to discover department-based risks in the first step of their institutionalisation journey, identifies risks in business processes with the power of artificial intelligence and makes it easier to overcome these risks with the suggestions it offers. In this way, SMEs can manage their time more effectively and their data completely and continuously while digitalising after organisational development."

It analyses the strengths and weaknesses of the business model, risks and opportunities, and suggestions against these risks in as little as 20 minutes

Lida Yanık stated that risk analysis, which defines the strengths and weaknesses of a business, department, product or business process and determining potential risks and opportunities, has been done manually so far and said, "Üstat9 integrates artificial intelligence, the locomotive of business transformation, into process analysis for the first time in Turkey. The answers given by SME owners to the analysis questions are evaluated by artificial intelligence and the strengths, weaknesses and risks of the business are revealed and the solution is presented in itself with the suggestions it brings to these risks. In the light of this analysis, Üstat9 designs all process improvement methodologies that will form the basis of digitalisation, from the organisation chart to company KPIs, job descriptions, performance criteria and all company reporting standards, with the power of artificial intelligence. With the suggestions offered according to the analyses, businesses reach the ideal roadmap under the guidance of risks and opportunities. The process continues with ERP selection, process management and sustainable institutionalisation steps."

"We design the digital transformation journey of SMEs together"

Underlining that Üstat9 is an artificial intelligence solution that saves SMEs time and efficiency in their consistent digitalisation journey, SMC Strategic Management Consultancy Chairman Lida Yanık concluded her evaluations with the following statements:

"Developed entirely with domestic resources by SMC, which specialises in organisational development, process optimisation and reorganisation, Üstat9 enables a 360-degree sustainable digitalisation journey by reducing risk and opportunity analysis on a departmental basis. In this way, it is possible to eliminate the risks of failure in digitalisation, the possibility of financial loss, and the possibility of going out of schedule. While SMEs save resources, time and cash on this journey, which they start by knowing what, why and how they do, employee productivity increases and circulation decreases. While strengthening all these aspects, another value-adding feature is that it organises and controls the internal processes of the company.
