Paris 2024 Olympics: Qatar Drawn In Group A Of Beach Volleyball Competition

Lausanne: The draw for the men's beach volleyball competition at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games has placed the Qatari team in Group A, along with Sweden, Italy (A), and Australia.

The International Volleyball Federation held the draw ceremony on Friday, where the 24 participating teams were divided into six groups.

The Second Group includes Norway, the Netherlands, Italy (B), and Chile, while the Third group includes the teams of Germany, Poland, Australia (B), and France, and the

Fourth Group includes Brazil, the United States , Cuba, and Morocco teams.

The Fifth Group included the Czech Republic, Brazil (B), Austria, and Canada teams, while the Sixth Group includes France (B), the Netherlands (B), Spain, and the United States (B) teams.

The Olympic Games will be held in the French capital from July 26 to August 11.

The Qatari national team will participate in the beach volleyball competitions with the duo Cherif Younousse and Ahmed Tijan, who previously won a bronze medal in the last Olympic Games (Tokyo 2020).

The Qatari team have made distinguished achievements since 2014, which placed it at the forefront of the classification of Arab and Asian teams.
