Five Killed In A Shooting In Las Vegas Suspect Commits Suicide


(MENAFN- Khaama Press) The Police in North Las Vegas, USA, have announced that the suspect in a shooting at an apartment complex, which resulted in the deaths of five people, including one woman, committed suicide before being arrested.

NBC News reported on Tuesday, June 25th, citing police officials, that the murder suspect of five people took his own life after confronting local police.

Las Vegas police identified the suspect as 47-year-old Eric Adams, who was accused of killing five people in two apartments within a residential complex in Nevada, USA.

Authorities in the city also reported that a 13-year-old girl was shot and is in critical condition.

Additionally, last Monday, at least nine people were injured in a shooting at a party in Montgomery.

This comes as gun violence in America has reached unprecedented levels, targeting more public places such as schools, shopping centers, churches, and street parties.

According to the Gun Violence Archive (GVA) report, in 2023, more than 42,000 people in America lost their lives due to firearms, both handguns and rifles.
