JHCO's Aid Reaches 43 Countries Around The World, Says Secretary-General, 1St, Final Add

With regard to the assistance provided to the brotherly Palestinian people, Shebli said that the value of the assistance provided to the brothers in Palestine amounted to about JD271 million that included medical and health assistance, food, relief, educational and financial assistance, sponsoring about 18,000 orphans between the West bank and Gaza, and providing about JD5 million for Jerusalem.
He explained that the aid provided to Gaza before the current war amounted to about JD142 million, and after the war, Jordan sent about 372 airdrops, whether by the Jordan Armed Forces (JAF) - Arab Army, or with the countries participating in the airdrops
After the opening of the Beit Hanoun (Erez) crossing, Shebli said the JHCO was able to send aid convoys, where the number of trucks sent reached about 2220 trucks with a total of 35162 tons of aid, in addition to implementing daily projects inside Gaza such as preparing and distributing meals and providing and distributing drinking water. "The number of beneficiaries so far amounts to about 718,000 people on a sustainable basis."
Shebli added that the main source of funding that the JHCO receives from the Royal Court, in addition to endowments, which is what is transferred to the JHCO from movable and immovable properties, and programs and projects that receive the support of regional and international organizations and institutions, where approximately 127 agreements were signed with international organizations in two years.
