Turkic World Proud Of Heads Of State Of Türkiye And Azerbaijan - Member Of Turkish Grand National Assembly

SHUSHA, Azerbaijan, June 15. The entire Turkic
world is proud of the heads of state of Türkiye and Azerbaijan -
President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and President Ilham Aliyev, the
moderator of the panel session "Unity of common values and
modernity: party diplomacy as a new dialogue platform", member of
the Turkish Grand National Assembly, head of the
Turkish-Azerbaijani inter-parliamentary friendship group Samil
Ayrım said, Trend reports.
He made the statement at the international conference
"Organization of Turkic States: towards new strategic goals in the
context of geopolitical realities and global cataclysms" held in
Shusha on June 15.
Noting the ongoing efforts to normalize relations between
Azerbaijan and Armenia, Samil Ayrim mentioned that one of the
conditions set by Azerbaijan for the leadership of Armenia for the
sake of peace is the renunciation of territorial claims. He
described the abolition of the OSCE Minsk Group as an important
factor in the direction of signing a peace agreement.
Ayrım also emphasized that Western Azerbaijanis will definitely
return to their historical lands.
"We believe that Western Azerbaijanis will be able to perform
prayers in their mosques in their native lands," he added.
To note, the international conference "Organization of Turkic
States: towards new strategic goals in the context of geopolitical
realities and global cataclysms" is being held in Shusha under the
organization of the New Azerbaijan Party. The conference is
attended by up to 300 guests, including leaders of the ruling
parties of the member countries of the Organization of Turkic
States (OTS) and observers.
Three plenary sessions will be organized within the framework of
the international conference: "Organization of Turkic States:
Regional contribution to global security," "Unity of modernity and
common values: Party diplomacy as a new platform for dialogue," and
"Turkic World 2040: a conceptual view of the future".
