Kazakh-Chinese Relations Uphold At Heights - President Tokayev

(MENAFN- Trend News Agency) ASTANA, Kazakhstan, April 25. Kazakh-Chineserelations are at the highest level of an eternal comprehensivestrategic partnership, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-JomartTokayev said during a meeting with Chinese Defense Minister WeiFenghe, Trend reports via Akorda.

According to Tokayev, in multilateral terms, Kazakhstan andChina share similar views on key issues of regional andinternational security.

"We maintain constructive dialogue and mutual support within theUnited Nations, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), andthe conference on Interaction and Confidence-Building Measures inAsia.

We highly appreciate and support China's proposed initiativesfor global development, global security, and global civilization will make a positive contribution to strengthening the modernarchitecture of international security," he noted.

Fenghe thanked the head of state for his hospitality and pointedout the high level of preparation for the meeting of defenseministers of SCO member states.

During the meeting, the parties expressed interest in developingpeacekeeping, educational, and military-technical cooperation.
