Bahrain, US Discuss Ties, Developments

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) MANAMA, Jan 7 (KUNA) -- The Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Bahrain Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa confirmed on Sunday that the bilateral ties between Bahrain and United States continue to develop by sharing historical strategies and many joint conventions.
Bahrain News Agency (BNA) stated the Crown Prince met with a delegation from the United States Congress, including Senator Joni Ernst, at Riffa Palace.
The crown prince, in remarks during the meeting with the senator, underscored the mutual keenness to strengthen the bilateral ties in various fields between the two countries to achieve their common interests and objectives.
He highlighted the US and other countries' role in reinforcing international peace and security.
Moreover, the Crown Prince stressed on the importance of unity to achieve peace for everyone equitably, as well as to achieve sustainable development in the region and the world
The senator and the Crown Prince discussed the common interests and the latest developments concerning the two countries. (end)
