Cambodian King Appoints 104 People As Personal Advisers To New Pm


(MENAFN- Nam News Network) PHNOM PENH, Aug 26 (NNN-AKP) – Cambodian King, Norodom Sihamoni, appointed 104 people as personal advisers to the country's new Prime Minister, Hun Manet, according to a royal decree released to the media yesterday.

“Hun Manet, the prime minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, must take responsibility to implement this royal decree from the day of signature,” the monarch said in the royal decree.

Hun Manet, 45, was sworn in as the prime minister last Tuesday, after his Cambodian People's Party won a landslide victory in the July 23 general election, gaining 120 of the total 125 parliament seats.– NNN-AKP
