EAEU’s collaboration with Iran increase in many industries, trade

(MENAFN) The Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) Minister in charge of commerce stated that the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU)'s collaboration with Iran is actively increasing in numerous industries, and trade among both sides has more than quadrupled in the last four years.

Andrey Slepnev also stated that commerce among the EU as well as the Islamic Republic of Iran will increase by 22 percent in 2022.

The crucial point is that bilateral economic exchanges are balanced, that means that nearly as much as the Eurasian Economic Union sends commodities to Iran, Iran also exports items to this union's member nations, according to the representative.

The Eurasian Economic Commission's commerce minister stated, highlighting the EAEU's high regard for Iranian goods: "Agricultural products now account for 75 percent of the trade exchanges of this union with Iran."

“Industrial goods have a special place in the framework of cooperation between the Eurasian Economic Union and Iran, and therefore, we are developing trade exchanges in the field of minerals, industries and chemicals”, he also said.
