Iran, Serbia discuss improving strengthen bilateral economic relations

(MENAFN) The Serbian ambassador to Iran and the chief of the Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture (ICCIMA) met and discussed the need of fostering the exchange of trade delegations in order to strengthen bilateral economic relations.
According to the ICCIMA webpage, Hossein Selahvarzi as well as Dragan Todorovic looked at the most recent data concerning the financial opportunities along with capabilities of both nations and addressed the challenges facing their commercial collaboration.
In reference to Serbia's developing economy, Selahvarzi stated: "The ICCIMA is focusing a lot on promoting international activities, and in this regard, countries with economic advantages are given priority; therefore, with the help of the Serbian Embassy, we can take good steps to develop business relations.”
In 2022, a commercial group from Iran would visit Serbia, he said, adding: “In that visit, solutions were agreed upon in the form of some payment mechanisms and now we should focus more on implementing those mechanisms.”
