Blasts At Military Base Near Russia-Captured Mariupol Leads To Multiple Arrests

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) After the explosions at the base in occupied Yuryivka near Mariupol, the Russians arrested almost everyone who had worked at the facility.

Petro Andriushchenko, adviser to the mayor of Mariupol, reported this on telegram , Ukrinform reports.

"Unexpected retribution came out of nowhere. After the Yuryivka kaboom, the Russians arrested almost all staffers at that base all of the occupiers' henchmen," Andriushchenko wrote.

According to him, some of the detainees were released, but at least three minions of the occupiers from Yalta and Yuryivka remain in the Donetsk dungeons.

"Someone thought that they got into the cool spot, but this turned out a bit wrong. No pity, no forgiveness," the official wrote.

As reported earlier, late May, as a result of Ukraine's forces hitting an enemy base in Yuryivka, 100 Russian servicemen were killed and nearly 400 were wounded. The enemy's ammunition depot, a number of heavy military equipment pieces, and the command and control center were destroyed. The base also housed communication and e-warfare systems.

The invaders are turning Mariupol and the surrounding villages into a military logistics hub for the Russian army.
