Two Medals Are Won By The Saudi Chemical Team In The 2023 Mendeleev Chemistry Olympiad


(MENAFN- Asdaf News) In the 57th edition of the International Mendeleev Chemistry Olympiad, which was held in Kazakhstan, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by the King Abdulaziz and his Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity“Mawhiba” and the Ministry of Education, won two major prizes.
116 male and female students from 21 different countries participated in the Mendeleev Chemistry Olympiad, and the Kingdom has now extended its prize fund to 21 prizes, including 16 silver and 5 bronze medals.

During the Olympiad, a team of seven students from several educational directorates represented the Kingdom. Bronze medals were obtained by students Ali Salah Al-Musa from the Eastern Provide Education Directorate and Mohammed Al-Hadlaq from the Riyadh Education Directorate.

The Kingdom's accomplishment is a part of a larger project and a systematic effort by“Mawhiba” to develop creativity, which includes a number of initiatives and programs implemented in collaboration with esteemed academic institutions and universities and aims to improve students' talents and foster their capacity for creativity and innovation.
