(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, April 20 (KUNA) -- The Acting Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education (MoE) Assistant Undersecretary for Public Education Osama Al-Sultan said that the ministry is looking forward to opening more channels of educational cooperation with China, especially in the technical and technological fields and the space field, given China's growth and progress.
In a speech, he delivered on the ministry's organization of an event regarding speech of students of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization countries with the Chinese Shenzhou-15 pilots, in the presence of the Chinese ambassador to Kuwait Zhang Jianwei.
Kuwait is proud of its deep ties with China and its sharing of educational experiences for learners, Al-Sultan added.
In a similar speech, Jianwei said that China aims through dialogue to increase youth's understanding of space technology, dissemination of popular sciences, and promotion of cultural cooperation.
China hopes through this event to raise awareness to explore the secret of the universe, he mentioned, indicating that the Tiangong space station has been fully built and put into use. (end)
