Jassim, Hamad Bin Jassim Charitable Foundation's 2022 Annual Report

(MENAFN) The Jassim and Hamad Bin Jassim Charitable Foundation has recently published its annual report for the year 2022. The report provides a comprehensive overview of the Foundation's charitable projects at both the local and international levels. The report bears the slogan "Empowerment, Building, Development," which reflects the Foundation's approach to formulating and implementing its humanitarian projects and initiatives, particularly in the areas of health, education, and housing.

The projects were implemented with the support and guidance of H.E. Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jabor Al Thani, the founding member of the Foundation. The report emphasizes the concept of sustainability as a fundamental pillar on which the Foundation builds its strategy in the medium and long-term.

The report reveals that the total cost of the Foundation's projects during the year amounted to QR61,707,923. The Foundation's charitable endeavors benefitted more than 368,300 people in many needy communities around the world.

The report highlights the most significant achievements of the Foundation during 2022 in terms of projects abroad. These include the opening of Sharifa Hospital in the Kingdom of Morocco, support for the marriage of over 250 young men in the Gaza Strip, and the Hamad Bin Jassim Center for Integrated Rehabilitation Care in Gaza. The report also mentions the launch of other important projects and initiatives made by the Foundation, with a total cost of QR42,238,592.

At the local level, the Foundation places great importance on providing monthly and continuous aid throughout the year. This is reflected in the numerous projects and initiatives inside Qatar, which occupy a large space in the charitable foundation's directions. The Foundation is also building partnerships and supporting various local civil organizations, as well as supporting the health and education sectors.

This is based on the Foundation's assumption of its social responsibilities, which enhance its vision of "health and education for a better life" and following Qatar National Vision 2030. The report clarifies the human and societal value of the Foundation's humanitarian initiatives and projects.

Finally, the report emphasizes that the Foundation's projects are sustainable due to the fact that they are self-financed. The Foundation enshrines in its orientations the principle of social solidarity, ensuring that it continues to provide social assistance to needy families and shares their financial burdens. The local projects and initiatives were implemented at a cost of QR19,469,394.
