Qatar Indian Management Association (QIMA) is dedicated to supporting the continuous professional development of its members through seminars, workshops, and training sessions that cover a wide range of topics related to business management, leadership, and industry trends said QIMA General Secretary Shelldine Victor (pictured) told The Peninsula about the Association's plans for 2023.

“We intend to host events that foster networking and connections among members and with influential business leaders in the community. These events may include both social gatherings, such as networking receptions or dinners, and more focused professional development opportunities, like industry roundtables,” he said.

QIMA is also committed to collaborating with other professional associations, industry groups, and educational institutions to further enhance its offerings and provide even greater value to its members. In order to attract new members to the organisation, QIMA is planning outreach efforts to professionals in the Indian community, both within Qatar and beyond. By expanding its reach and offerings, QIMA hopes to create a robust and supportive community that promotes the growth and success of its members. He said QIMA was established to offer a platform for professionals to network, learn, and enhance their skills. Being affiliated with the All India Management Association, QIMA has access to a wealth of resources that can aid in professional development. QIMA plays a pivotal role in shaping corporate leaders by providing access to training and development opportunities, sharing industry insights and best practices, and creating a community of like-minded professionals who can support each other.

QIMA supports the development of corporate leaders in Qatar by organising events and conferences that feature prominent business leaders,

facilitating networking opportunities, and providing development programs for members.
