Salvadorian Delegation Reviews Supreme Judiciary Council's Digital Transformation Experience

Doha: President of the Supreme Court of Justice of the Republic of El Salvador Oscar Alberto Lopez praised the results of his visit and the delegation accompanying him to the State of Qatar over five days, describing it as useful and fruitful.

In his remarks, Lopez pointed out several points that he wants to exchange, use, and seek to implement in the judicial system in El Salvador.

He added that during this visit, he exchanged expertise with his Qatari counterparts and was briefed on the Supreme Judiciary Council's work mechanism, especially aspects related to the procedures and laws that contributed to reducing the period of litigation in Qatar, in addition to learning about the digital transformation system in the Council and its significant aspects of development.

President of the Supreme Court of Justice of the Republic of El Salvador indicated that he was briefed on several distinguished aspects of the Qatari experience, especially regarding applying the electronic judiciary auctions, which are run with total transparency and give the items their actual value and deserved price, whether real estates or cars.

He also hailed the national address system in Qatar, given its significance and influential contribution to achieving prompt justice and reducing the period of litigation, in addition to the Supreme Judiciary Council's work mechanism regarding full cooperation and continuous communication with all state authorities and institutions, which contributes to achieving the principle of justice in the society.

He said that the judicial delegation accompanying him made several tours of the Supreme Judiciary Council, its affiliated courts, and the Public Prosecution, holding several fruitful meetings with Judges and learning about many aspects related to technology and the major advancement in digital justice in the Council.

Oscar Alberto Lopez noted the great attention paid by the State of Qatar to the judicial system and its huge support that contributed to reaching this phase of success and continuous development.
